Stewardship Policy


Stewardship is a form of PT OSO MI's responsibility (fiduciary duties) for customer funds entrusted/invested in the Company's investment products. In managing investments, PT OSO MI has the responsibility to always act with the best interests of customers in mind. Through the Stewardship Policy, PT OSO MI focuses on the quality and accountability of fund management in the best interest of customers by determining when and how voting rights on an interest are exercised.

The exercise of voting rights is essential to ensure transparency, accountability and sustainability of the investee company as PT OSO MI can ask questions, provide input and views on the steps that need to be taken to deal with market changes, regulations and business challenges to the management of the company. The sustainability of the company is essential for the company to continue operating and providing long-term benefits to all stakeholders.

PRINCIPLES OF STEWARDSHIP POLICY

    - Conduct periodic monitoring of the company in which the Investment Manager's managed funds are invested (investee company).

    - Conduct periodic reviews of the results of monitoring of investee companies.

    - Conduct engagement activities as a follow-up to the monitoring results

    - Exercising voting rights on share ownership in investee companies by taking into account the principles of prudence, independence, and the interests of managing customer funds.

PT OSO MI endeavors to attend and vote in the GMS/EGMS of all investee companies. Attendance is prioritized for investee companies where PT OSO MI will exercise its voting rights to approve / disapprove, raise questions and / or proposals, among others on:

    - appointment or dismissal of management

    - determination of dividend

    - company performance

    - company strategy

    - measures to overcome challenges faced

    - financial report
